We wish to make members aware of a fraudulent text message that is currently circulating and may appear to be from a legitimate financial institution.

These messages often attempt to create a sense of urgency and may ask you to click a link or contact a phone number. Progressive Credit Union will never ask for your personal or banking details by text message or over the phone.

How to Stay Safe

• Do not share any personal or banking details over the phone or by text.

• If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately.

• Never click on links or call phone numbers provided in suspicious messages.
