Fraud Alert: Scam Text Messages

Progressive Credit Union is making members aware of suspicious text messages circulating that claim a payment has been made from their account.

The messages may refer to a transfer of €2,738.47 to a named payee and ask recipients to reply or call a phone number provided in the message, claiming that withdrawals have been placed on hold.

If you receive this message, do not reply or call the number provided.

To protect yourself:

• Do not respond to suspicious text messages or use the contact details provided in them.

• Never share your PIN, password or security codes.

• If you are concerned about your account, contact Progressive Credit Union directly using our official contact details.
