We have been made aware of an active fraud attempt that may affecting members pf Progressive Credit Union. Please remain vigilant and do not engage with any suspicious calls or messages.

What’s Happening?

• Members are receiving SMS messages stating that a company representative will call them from a private number and provide a reference code.
• This is followed by a call from a person claiming to be from "Card Security," who has the member’s name and the first four digits of their card number.
• The scammer pressures individuals to confirm a fraudulent transaction, stating it is “time-sensitive” and that they will be held liable if they do not act.

How to Stay Safe

✅ Do not share any personal or banking details over the phone.
✅ If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately.
✅ Never click on links or call numbers provided in suspicious messages.
✅ Contact your credit union directly using official contact details if you are ever unsure.
