Credit Unions Named Ireland’s Most Reputable Organisation for the Fourth Consecutive Year

Progressive Credit Union is proud to share that credit unions have once again been recognised as Ireland’s most reputable organisation, topping the Ireland Reputation Index 2026 for the fourth consecutive year.

Achieving an impressive reputation score of 81.7, credit unions were one of only two organisations to receive an “Excellent” rating in this year’s study.

The Ireland Reputation Index is based on the views of more than 5,000 members of the public and measures the levels of trust, respect, admiration and esteem people have for 100 of Ireland’s largest and most familiar organisations.

This continued recognition reflects the strong connection credit unions have with the communities they serve and the trust members place in their local credit union every day.
